Penguin Island (all ages): A five minute ferry ride across beautiful Shoalwater Bay is all it takes to meet the world's smallest penguins! Spend an hour or an entire day amongst this picturesque nature reserve, soaking up the sun on the stunning beaches, enjoying a picnic on the shaded grass area amongst the trees and letting the kids explore at their leisure. Enjoy, swimming, snorkelling, exploring nature trails and scenic lookouts, building sandcastles and spotting wildlife for the perfect day out for the whole family. More Info Here...

Dolphin, Penguin & Sea Lion Cruise (all ages): Perfect in the morning, this adventure ensures you see some of Western Australia’s most iconic marine species all before lunch, or enjoy an afternoon filled with adventure! Our Dolphin, Penguin & Sea Lion Cruise is a 60 minute wildlife cruise through the ruggedly spectacular Shoalwater Islands Marine Park! Watch the kids light up as they come face to face with wild dolphins, sealions and penguins! There's plenty for the kids to learn too, with fascinating facts from our informative guides, as they take you up close to the animals in the wildlife sanctuary zone. Our guides will take you to visit the sea lions at Seal Island and make the most of any other wildlife viewing opportunities. Our glass bottom boat is ideal for getting up close to the islands, where we will be spotting pelicans, ospreys, cormorants, terns and more. The cruise concludes on Penguin Island to see the penguin feeding and enjoy some island time. Swim, snorkel, bring along a delicious picnic to enjoy on the grassed area under the trees, let the kids explore and relax on the beautiful white sandy beaches, before returning on the ferry at your leisure. Swim With Wild Dolphins (6+ years): Experience an encounter of a lifetime, swimming with wild dolphins! Cruise Rockingham’s sheltered bays and islands on our luxury, custom built boat, in search of any of over 200 local dolphins that your crew have come to know as friends. This is one school holiday adventure they'll remember forever! The dolphins don’t do tricks and we don't feed or touch them, we simply spend time enjoying each other's company, which makes the experience even more incredible with each wild encounter! You don’t have to be an expert swimmer to join in and no previous snorkelling experience is necessary. Our professional and friendly crew conducts introductory snorkelling lessons and have an excellent track record of helping nervous or less experienced swimmers through the experience. Just bring a sense of adventure and be ready for an unforgettable, exhilarating encounter! Full length wetsuits, mask & snorkel and snorkelling lessons included, along with a light lunch, refreshments, tea, coffee, hot chocolate and water. Our expert guides ride underwater scooters to get you up close and personal with the dolphins and complimentary photos of your cruise are included in your day! Swimming with wild dolphins is sure to bring the biggest smile to your children’s faces this school holidays!
Cruises operate daily subject to weather and minimum bookings. Passengers making their own way to Rockingham must meet our boat at 8am sharp. Cruise duration is approximately 3 to 6 hours depending on dolphin sightings and behaviours. Book Here.

Pengo’s Cafe (all ages + dog friendly):  Hear that? The school holiday call and response of coffee drinking parents, emerging out in the masses. We hear you! For every "I'm bored" uttered by a youngster comes an "I need a coffee" from a parent in reply, and Pengos have you covered. Open every day 8am- 4pm, parents can take a break at Pengos and relax in the shade with a coffee, whilst the kids play on the grass, swings or at the beach. Great coffee & cakes, gourmet burgers, awesome fish & chips, shakes and fresh salads. Located right next door to Perth Wildlife Encounters, Pengos is the ideal place for a quick bite to eat for breakfast or lunch, before or after your visit to Penguin Island. We have a delicious range of freshly made rolls, wraps, salads, as well as drinks and snacks to take away for a picnic on Penguin Island. Enjoy a meal under the shade sails of our alfresco area or have a picnic on the grass next to the children’s playground. We’re also dog friendly and just a 30 second stroll to the beautiful Shoalwater Bay beaches. A perfect morning outing or lunch date with your littleies!
