SCATTERING OF ASHES
Penguin Island and the Shoalwater Islands Marine Park has been a favourite playground for locals since the late 1800’s and for many it holds a special place in their hearts. A dedicated ‘Scattering of Ashes’ private vessel charter is a special event, and can be arranged for you and your close friends and family.
Scattering of Ashes
Families wishing to honour a loved one with an ash-scattering ceremony can privately charter one of our vessels for a
45-minute or a 1 hour cruise through the beautiful Shoalwater Islands Marine Park Sanctuary.
Your group will board at Mersey Point Jetty and cruise to a quiet location of your choosing within the marine park.
Our team will allow time for the ceremony, scattering of ashes and reflection before returning to shore.
If you would like to provide a link for selected music, please advise our friendly staff.
Please note departures will be scheduled as availability and predicted weather allows around our regular operations.
If weather proves unsafe to operate on the day of your selected departure, you may reschedule or be provided with a full refund.

Cost From: $545. Costs will vary dependant on selected date, and duration of vessel hire.
